Need tips for h22 swap into 94 accord
does anyone know if the powersteering hose and a/c lines from a 94 honda accord EX fit an H22a1? Im going to do this swap pretty soon, here in a few weeks. I would just like to get some helpfull tips and hints before I start up the project. Any wiring problems I should look out for, etc.? Does my axle fit and shift linkage fit, or do I need to swap them out as well? And Someone also told me that the Accord tranny bolts on to the H22, just different gear ratios, is that true?
I have a Honda Tuner magazine that shows the procedures for this swap. I know they had to do some welding for the power steering line. That should be the only accessory that needs some custom work.
I think you will need to run wires for the knock sensor. Not sure. I will check on that.
Also, I believe they mentioned something about using the Accord TB if you wanted to keep cruise control.
I will look at the article tonight and let you know what else is needed.

hey im lookin for like a parts list or something like that for the same swap into a 94 2dr and if anyone has tried to use a sds type management instead of the normal ecu
hey yo thanks for the tips. Im going to need it. About the knock sensor, If I already have the sohc vtec and engine wire harness, do I still need to wire a knock sensor? I thought that was only for LX and DX models with no vtec? I could be wrong. But again thanks for the tips and helping me out.

Yeah, you shouldn't have any wires to add, but there will be some wires you will just have to extend...

</TD></TR></TABLE>**** I used a p13 ecu and it ran just fine, just that I FREAKING dont have Vtec....shiiiiit that sucks....something wrong with my sensors, but its all good...But I also used a GSR ecu and it seemed to run a little bit stronger, dont know why but it did?

For a 94 accord swap all you need is a 97 prelude power stering braket.
Bolt that to the motor and use the accord pump. This makes it simple and easy.
