Default Who's sat in a Sparco Pro 2000?

How does it compare to the Evo2 and Evo? I'm small built...5'6" with a 30" waist.

Dimensionally (from the Sparco Seat Dimension Guide), the Evo and the Pro2000 are pretty similar...except the seat bottom is about 3 inches longer on the Pro2000... The driving position seems less "upright" too. Any first hand experiences?

Thanks!

The pro2000 is slightly more room than the evo, but tighter than the evo2. Deeper bolsters than both of them.

If you're buying new, its a better seat. I found a pair of evo2's used, but I would have preferred a pro2000.

You may want to look into a sparco sprint also - its cheaper, but not uncomfortable and about the same size as the evo. I'm 5'8" 36" waist and an evo is a snug fit. Evo2 is a little roomier, I bought those since I'll be driving it to the track in them.

I have a Pro2000 and really like it. I take to bottom cushion out to drop my *** down another few inches. The seat has great support.

i'm 5'8" 30" waist and find it a bit roomy. i'd prefer something tighter, but as mentioned, it's priced relatively cheaper than the other seats and not uncomfortable. sparco is rad, but take some time to look around for something that suits you well. if money wasn't an issue for me, i'd go with the recaro spg

I've got a buddy selling his set of two for $700 shipped, w/ rails and sliders...so its definitely less expensive than buying new. To get a bargain, or a proper fit. That is the question...

I think I'll pick 'em up, and if they're too big, I'll pawn 'em off on you guys. Thanks for the help.

When I last visited Sparco, I was able to test fit alot of their seats... and I have a small waist also, 29 inches skinny. The Circuit Seat fit my hips/waist the best IMO, but they were not in stock at the time, so I purchased a Touring Seat (which I love).

I also have a Sprint in the our other car, and it actually fits pretty well... although the lack of Rake adjustment is a minus (if you use the sparco sliders and bracket without modifying it), and you receive less "feedback" since the seat is less rigid than the other more expensive fiberglass/carbon seats.

5'8" 31" waist... I love the seat. It could be slightly tighter but it holds me in great and is comfortable enough to drive distances in it too which is nice for those far away races (car aint no trailer queen )

We are all really happy for Thomas on his first race win! It's nice to see the tire god smiling... the force is defintiely with him, and we hope it doesn't wear off before Willow Springs.

Dennis- who misses being able to watch the races, since he's always IN them...
