Piston question
You'll have to use either B18A/B rods with the 89mm stroke crank, or you can use the GSR-length rods with the GS-R's 87.2mm stroke crank. You cannot use the GSR-length rods with the 89mm LS crank.
The pistons should be ok. You'll just have to set the piston-to-cylinder wall clearance properly.
Compression ratio will be lower assuming that the piston-to-deck height clearance stays the same. I don't know if it does b/c I've never measured a stock LS block before and I don't know where the JE pistons like to sit on a GS-R block. It's probably .020" to .030" like other forged piston companies I know.
