Bleeding the clutch
I just put a new clutch if my lude, and now its time to bleed it, but i've been going for a while, and im not getting any pressure? any suggestions...how do you bleed it, maybe im doing it wrong? and how long should it take?
you would bleed it just like you'd bleed brakes... it's usually pretty easy to bleed the clutch because it's such a small system, however you can get air pockets that won't leave.
what exactly is the problem? does the pedal just go right to the floor after you bleed it? you *have* connected everything back together properly right? sometimes it's really easy to forget a cotter pin or any little things. i presume there are no leaks visible anywhere since you've done the work?

Whats steps have you taken? Are you submerging the bleeding line into brakefluid? Make sure you have a tight fit around the bleeder nipple on the slave cylinder cause air will creep back in the line and you wont even know it. Also make sure your keeping the fluid container filled up as your bleeding it.
