Chromemoly rings
i was talking to a freind of mine which ahs an h22, he is burning oil really bad and the car smokes alot,it has been rebuilt and has 400 miles on it. the guy (not me) that rebuilt it used chrome moly rings. correct me if im wrong, does it take longer for those type of rings to seat in a normal motor, if ever in an h22 that has a nickel coated cylinder? just trying to figure out why the car smokes so much. when i rebuild my motors they smoke for about 80-100 miles then the rings are seated pretty good and i have no problems. thanx
