Cel Codes
okay, i read the sticky on cel codes but notice it says for 92-95 civics. what plug do i use for my 2000 si? i took the side panel off on the passenger side where my ecu is and i see a green plug. i also have a small plug by the ecu that is not connected to anything. where is the plug located so i can check my cel code? i tried searching and didn't see anything for my year civic.
thanks, i did a search and found info on the previous year models. just wanted to make sure if it was the same or not. when my cel came on the car was idling funny (very low) and when i changed gears it would have a popping noise in the exhaust. also the power delivery felt very sluggish. before i wrote this thread i tried the green plug to see what my cel code was but when i tried it didn't do anything. so i figured i must have done something wrong since all the writeups on here that i read was for the 92-95 civics. after reading this post i went back outside to check for my cel code and when i put the igniton on my check engine light went off. so i got in the car and drove it around and the light didn't come back on, and i didn't notice any of the problems that i had when the light first came on. if the light comes back on i will check it for the code. its strange, cause now the car fells like it drives stronger than before.
