Default troubleshooting my engine

alright, i need some knowledgeable advice from you gearheads out there. I have an EK with a 1991 LS swap. The motor has close to 95,000 miles on it but i got it for a good deal (so i thought) so i did the swap. Well now in the #1 cylinder my compression is 110-120 while the rest of the cylinders are between 150-180. What do I need to replace? Also can anyone give me prices and locations where I can purchase the parts?
Another problem i'm having is whenever I start the car there is a HORRIBLE grinding noise coming from inside the tranny. A couple of weeks ago whenever i would push down the clutch it would make the grinding noise but wouldn't do it any other time...including whenever i shifted. once i turned the car off and then turned it back on the problem dissapeared. At first we thought it was the starter so I replaced it and that didn't fix it, but when i pulled the old starter off there were metal shavings sitting on the teeth of the gear. We are thinking that it is the clutch or the flywheel. I'm using a stock GSR clutch with a Fidanza lightened flywheel. What we came up with is that one of the springs have broken loose/off of the clutch itself and is grinding against something. This is very very hard to believe though so I figured I would post on here to see what you guys could come up with.
