Default Engine Smoking 91 Accord

I have a problem with a 91 accord 2.2 smoking when started cold and last about 15 minutes. I pulled the motor to figure if it was the head or rings.
The #2 piston is very clean valves on the exhaust side of #2 is got a milky look on them. Like water and oil mix. same one the plug of #2. Cylinder wall still has cross hatchings and looks fine.
Anyone have an idea of whether I should be looking at rings or Valve seats.
I can take pictures if that would help also.

Thanks
Don

It will burn a quart a week running normal about 1 tank of gas.
Running it hard will burn a quart in 150 miles.

Thanks for the help

Check the block and the front is very clean. Back has some oil on it but not alot. Some more history on it.
There was a couple of valves and seats replace about 20,000 miles ago. Not long after it started smoking. The engine has 193,000 on it but still ran very good.
I ask the owner that had the valve work done if they knew which cylinder but they can't remember. I have a good feeling it was the #2

Thanks again for the help

i bent the 1st and 3rd valves in my old civic, and after the new valve work she went through oil much quicker.....and i would have to agree with your thoughts on #2 from the pics. By the way welcome to H-T

Thanks for the Welcome and Thanks for the extra help and info. I will plan to pull the #2 piston tomorrow and see if there is a ring stuck. I will let you know what I find. Maybe this can be an easy fix or maybe I will look for a V-tech to put in it.
Thanks again

Well I just took the pistons out and the number 2 just fell out when I removed the cap. The other 3 had to be pushed out. No rings was broken but maybe a little stuck on the oil ring. I plan to mik it tomorrow and see if the cylinder walls are all the same. Hopefully I can just replace rings and bearings and have head reworked and be back in business.
