Thanks, he said the way he has it built the car is for track racing, soo basically I cannot do anything else to the engine to make it faster or give it more HP for the most part. He said it wasn't built for forced induction (which i wasn't really considering anyway). And he said that if i want to drag it i would need to rebuild the engine for it because the stuff he has on it is for track. Also he turned the Vtech engagment up to 6700 when it was dyno'd? That make sense to anyone? And could you explain?

And can someone tell me about this racing thing in PA cause I am very interested. I hear it is alot of fun.

It was my Type R he bought, so everyone give him some good advice. BTW, you can drag it w/o rebuilding the motor, but it wasn't built w/ that in mind. Good luck, and keep reading up.

Before you start to get flamed, it's vtec (no "h")

I suggest checking out a local autocross as the best way to get started in motorsports. Check out the SCCA Region Locator for the chapter closest to you.

Hey bob, thanks alot for helping me out buddy. And I don't plan on draggin it. Track is what you built it to do so thats what i wanna do with it. But hey tell me more about this Type R race in PA. How do I go about taking mine up there?

And P.S. i did drag it once the other night just against my girlfriends, BROTHERS GSR that has like $3000 in it and killed him. I had to do it just to prove to him.

and do you have a Instant message way i could talk to you until my trial period is up? like through AOL or something?

Street racing is bad. And I hope you were referring to the GSR as "him".

http://www.itrca.com/events/expo4.php

Go visit & then "register" - http://www.itrca.com/events/expo4reg.php

You'll find some worthwhile info on the FAQ section of the site. Oh yea - I'm a little partial, 'cause I'm the design coordinator. The site is done for free, so if you see anything incorrect, just remember we must have been complaining about our low salary when that happened

Welcome to the world of the Type R. It's a beautiful thing once you start getting some track experience & see how well it handles.

***DITTO on the street racing thing - "I killed him" could turn out to be words your really hope you never hear in reality.
