Tips for first car show
I am entering in a car show that is in the beginning of august, so I have some time to prepare.
What are some things that you guys would recommend I do to get some extra "points" from the judges.
The car will be washed, waxed, and vacuumed to death, so that isn't an issue, but I am talking about little things that most people wouldn't notice, but show judges do.
Thanks

CLEAN
I was a **** at the shows I judged. I checked places a lot of people would overlook. I always would give a good finger swipe under the fender well for dirt. I would clean the inside of your exhaust as well. Ya never know
. Cleanliness is key. You can put all the cute little ricer mods on you want but clean clean clean. Make the judges want to each lunch on your engine bay and your in. If the car looks like it rolled off the factory floor you are at good odds to win.

Pull your wheels off and clean every inch of it, inside and out, clean the holes for the lug nuts. Clean the inside of the windows so they are really really clean and clear. That should help out a bit.
Great tips guys, thanks for all the help so far!!
This isn't a nopi show, but it is a cookout/car show, so do you think I will have a spec sheet??

well, so far I have replaced rusty bolts with new stainless ones, and I painted 2 different things with oem trim black paint so they look brand new.
What about hiding wires/ de-cluttering the engine bay in general, does that really matter. I ask b/c my stock engine has a lot of wires going everywhere, and vacuum lines, so if I could get them out of the way, it would clean everything up a ton.

I say take sweetcarz advice too...He knows what he is talking about...If you have time to hide wires in your bay, then do it....It all goes along with the cleanliness theme
You have any pics of your car? post em up and lets see what you are working with so far...
