Fixed it, now it's broke....HELP?
I pulled my FITV apart and that seemed to be the culprit. I screwed the end cap down all the way and put it all back together and she was purring real nice like.
Now I'm getting a rich smell while I let it warm up, and small amounts of condensation and black crap come out of the exhaust. It's not like it's spitting water, just clearing condensation out of the pipe.
I adjusted my idle when I fixed the FITV and set it around 700-750 RPM's.
For some reason when I start running it a little hard, when I stop at say a traffic light, it comes down to like 1050 RPM's and may or may not slowly come down. WTF is that all about?
This morning I started getting a hunting idle again for about 20-30 seconds while on my way to work. It went away though. Can I put some silicone inside the FITV to keep the ring cap in place? Kind of like the TB idle set screw...
