Anyone have the Haynes Suspension, Steering, Driveline Manual?
If yes, do you know who makes the tie rod puller on page 2-34, illustration # 2.106, top left picture?

I've had good luck using an autozone 2/3 jaw puller...except for the one that I broke 2 teeth off of... cheap taiwanese crap...but the replacement worked just fine...
$25 rental... free if you bring it back within 2-3 days...

Also I must apologize... I just skimmed over the first post I guess and in my mind I must've replaced "tie rod puller" with "ball joint puller"...My bad...disregard my post...

Yes, that is what I am wondering about ... Can I use a ball joint press kit to remove the tie rod end ball joint?
Tool mfrs make both a ball joint press to remove and install the ball joints, but also make tie rod pullers. Old Forge makes one but the puller arms pivot, and I like the more rigid design like the one in the Haynes manual.
