IACV problem like no other , B16a CRX
I have had cel 14 ever since i got my b16a into my CRX. I have already changed the iacv for a new one. I have a blue/yellow wire going from the sensor to A11 (which i believe is correct) and a black/yellow wire going from the sensor. Heres the wierd part. I found a black/yellow wire today hiding inside the wire loom near my knock sensor not connected to anything and it seems to be a power wire because when it came loose it hit a ground and blew a few fuses lol
With the knock sensor being directly under my IACV i was woundering...
could this maybe be the black/yellow wire that should be going to my IACV? will it hurt to try it? should i try running a blue/yellow wire directly from the sensor to the ecu? If you have any other thoughts let me know. thanks

well since the ecu does not know if a sensor is faulty or not, that could be the problem.... you just never know...unless you do a continuity test...
Well i wouldnt think its the sensor since its new. How would i run a test on this sensor? I just need to know if its getting any power or signal. I have an AMPROBE but i dont know how to use it (I dont often do wiring stuff). Any help would be great.
alright i was checking the hasport web site http://www.hasport.com/Tech/Wring/EFDX-Si.PDF it says that to convert the engine from dx to si run an orange wire and black/yellow to the IACV. could it be possible that when they convert my harness to vtec that it was before converted to an si and that they forgot to move that black wire from where the knock sensor is now?
