Question is can 205's fit on these 17" rims?

I'm really not sure if by going with a tire with less width if it wont fit on the rim correctly? Can u pretty much use any width tire with any rim combo?


I know they are TSW and not even sure what kind. They came with 215/40/17....however im tearing the tires up on my rex, and want to go with like a 205/40/17 so i can drop it too...

Personally i love the style, and would rather go with a 16 same type of style, but all i can find that are similiar are regamasters which cost an arm and leg. So it looks like i might be stuck with these for a while, there still in great shape so i really dont mind keeping them around. But like i said i really need to lower my 4 wheeler :D lol
