Default Drive feel of a Converted Integra

I'm very close to ordering my parts for my conversion and a few people have mentioned that the auto to manual conversion doesn't necessarily feel like a true manual. Any one here feel the same? Anyone feel differently? I'd like to get a feel for it, I may trade in for a GSR if it really is the case. Unfortunately I have no opportunity to drive a converted GS or LS.

So what does a true manual feel like? I swaped mine and feel's like any other factory manual integra out there.

Just feeling it out. I'm ordering my 96SPEC ITR tranny next week, and there is definately no corner cutting. Why do something if you are going to do it in a half assed manner.

ITR tranny baby. You wont' be dissappointed. I've got 2 weeks on my baby.

True though, only way I can think it wouldn't feel like a manual is if you rigged something. It's no 1 hour job, so take your time.

I do have a friend that had an automatic se and she had it coverted to a gsr engine and manual tranny and she always said she thought if felt different than a factory manual tranny. Personally I agree with the other people here and don't think it would be any differnt as long it was done right.
