Default POLL - Shave mouldings, paint side skirts

im going to be painting my car soon and wondering if i should get rid of the side mouldings and paint my side skirts, or should i keep them on, what do you think?

here's a recent pic

also wondering how hard would it be for the body shop to shave my antanna and wiper blade on the back window? anyone know? much work involved?

the wiper blade on the rear window can be removed yourself, and the hole can be filled with a plug found in the engine bay (if you need more info on this ask and i can find the tutorial).

personally, i'd paint the side moldings, sideskirts, and the lower half of the front end. for a shop to rather than spening all the money to remove the antenna, take out the motor and let is stay down for while, until you can get an s2k antenna kit.

here's an example of a MR teg with all the stuff i mentioned above painted (its mine )

nevermind, my server is down. but i think you get the point

I'd get an OEM kit or some type of lip/body kit before you paint.. just to save money later on and have everything be the exact same color.

take off the rear wiper, and plug it up w/ the firewall plug, located right beside/behind ur battery.

if you're going for the si-vtec look, maybe just colour match the side mouldings. unpainted side mouldings only look good on a black teg.

imo. buy an '97 itr front lip, then paint that, shave mouldings, and paint sides too. shave the rear wiper squirter and unplug the antenna motor to leave it down.

ahhh i cant find my pics...basically...the s2k antenna is a black, non retractable antenna that is about 5 or 6 inches tall.

Some people like the s2k antenna better becuase it doesnt go 2-3 feet in the air like the stock integra antennas do.
