Default Advice needed: OBD1 p72+Hondata s200+skunk2 IM

Planning to add a nice header and the skunk2 IM in the near future. Will I be able to use my obd1 p72+hondata with the skunk2 IM?

My current setup is:
95 jdm gsr
p73 o/s pistons
apexi intake
CTR b-pipe+muffler
Hondata s200
Any advice is much apprecited.

i dont see why you couldnt use that ecu. its working with your setup already right? adding the IM wont do anything but provide more flow at higher end rpms and all you need to do is tune it for the adjustment at the higher rpms.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. After all the dual runners are in no way connected/controlled by the ecu. The ECU just dumps fuel when it thinks that runners open up. Im sure that this flat spot could be fixed with hondata once the dual runners go correct?

WTF? The ecu DOES INDEED control the opening/closing of the secondary runners!

However, it DOES NOT get pissed and throw any codes if you adjust its opening RPM/unplug it... so yes the p72 will work, but fuel and timing will need to be compensated for via hondata to smooth it out.
