seems like a good idea...but doesn't seem practical...having to get dry ice just doesn't seem like something I'd want to do before every race to get my moneys worth out of my intake

I used to have a huge collection of hotrod mags from the 50's and 60's.
I remember they had something similar. It was a metal canister that your gas line went it, and coiled up it. You put ice water in the canister, and it was suppose to help 1/4 miles.

True. Alot of the old domestic guys use to put moth ***** in the gas tank as well.

Not sure really, I think it had something to do with oxidizing the gas or something? Just remeber overhearing it at the track.
