Default will a 1 wire o2 sensor pass smog on a 4 wire ECU???

I have a 92 CX with 99 EX swap and it has the original engine harness with 1 wire o2 sensor but I'm running a p28 ECU and its reading a 4 wire o2 so I need to know if it will pass smog or how to make it pass smog any helpful information thanks.

No it will pass smog. Also you will receive the O2 heater sensor CEL. You need to wire up the other 3 wires. It's pretty easy. Search on here for the 4 wire conversion I know that someone has posted the pic before.

You don't need to wire up three wires, you just have to drop switched ignition power (I tap into yel/blk B1, usually) across a 10 ohm 5 watt resistor, and ground it at org/grn A6. The ECU clicks code 41, O2HC, based on whether or not the ECU has any current flowing in at org/grn A6.

I normally chip such setups to ignore O2HC, but you can achieve the same thing for $2 and a few minutes work.

I don't think you have a hope in hell of passing smog with a CEL... but without the car will pass smog if everything is in good running order.
