are cam gears worth the money.....can i expect any gains from a pretty much stock h23 with the exection of a cold air and gutted cat? also around what settings would you reccomend and what brand??? thanx

 

camgears aren't that effective with such minor mods, if you had cams with the camgears...it would be better.

If you're deadset on a set of camgears, can't go wrong with any set that has 6 or more nuts. Problems with lesser amounts = cam gear slipping and messing everything up.

ya cam gears are one of hte later mods, once you want ot start tuning

 

how bout 5? thats one reason i went to a OBX cam gear instead of AEM...i heard there was way to many slippage problems...but i was wonderign you think ill have any problem with the 5?

 

OBX&AEM = trash

i've used obx once and that was enough never again

you wont be bragggin when all your valves are bent.


and no....cam gears with out cams wont make any noticeable hp with only those mods. wait till you actually have some engine work.
