I just put in a used zc distributor from singapore and installed a used fuse box in the engine bay. Now I am getting an engine code 20. Could it be a loose wire or ground. The old distributors ignition wires were cut and taped together so i had to trace back the wires on the newer distributor and figure out were the wires went and reconnect them. The connections seem fine on the ingition wires. Any guidance would be helpfull. I can drive the car fine but at night when i have my headlights on they dim when i lay off the gas. Also sometimes my cd player will not put out as much sound as it should then it will all of a sudden kick in full power.
Thanks
Thanks
With the headlights and radio, thats a grounding issue. The code 20 is insane. Mine came on at random times. When I drove for say 20-30 min my car would bog, even die. Replaced my ignitor, and it all cleared up.
my .02$ I talked to dealerships around here and they said it was the alternator, bad fuse, anything. It's just plain odd.
But yours started after the distributor right? Test it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went back and looked at the fuse box i replaced in the engine bay and noticed one of the power wires wasn't connected fully. It must have been getting a bad connection. The code is gone for now. Thanks again.

I have a SOHC ZC. It screams. I have a STD CIVIC HB with no interior so its pretty quick. Also have a cam gear, catback exhaust, intake, lightened pulley, exedy clutch, ZC trans with integrea front brakes, and a front strut tower bar.
I really need suspension and rims since the stock STD suspension is pretty soft in the back. Thanks again
