oh man just found this:

How to mess up a friends Vtec Engine:
1. Find a friend who needs a swap or will let you borrow his car, Vtec's only.
2. Wait till he is gone, pop the hood.
3. Splice the Vtec 12V Wire and wire it to the positive (+) wire on the horn.
4. Everytime Vtec Engages there horn will go on.
5. Then laugh and listne to them say "what the f*ck?"

hahahahaha awesome.....

Because its m4D JDM y0!

lol jk, most people do this on there D series because they cant feel VTEC so a light makes sure they have it working. I put one in my car with a GSR swap to make sure VTEC was working when i was having some problems with it.

When i did my light i just tapped it into the ecu But that link shows to do it in the solenoid which is a good idea just alot more work (just my .02)

p.s. why dont you try doing that ^^^ except with the LED light wire instead of the horn wire (splice it into the VTEC wire)

that is great. I read an article where the kid wired his vtec to the shift light, or something along those lines. supposedly it was before swaps were real common, eventually he changed it.

since our horns operate from being grounded out...

You would have to cut of the positive on the horn, ground out the neg, then splice pos to the vtec.

Or else the horn would only work while in Vtec.

I dought it will work hahahahaha, not enough current to make both things work you will need a relay but it might be funny. hmmmmmmmmm....

It's vtec yo. If you need to see it kick in obviously your car is slow.
