Default can i reuse bearings and do i really need to shot peen??

last week, my ls/vtec head bolt threads in the block stripped out. i bought another ls block with just over 100k on it. My question is, can i put my pr3 pistons on the new ls rods, or do they have to be shot peened first??? i only rev the motor to 7500 rpm's. also, i want to know if i take the new ls rods off the crank and the bearings look good, can i reuse them??? i am tight on money, but i want a reliable car. i dont beat the hell out of it, like i said, i only rev it to 7500. please give me advice as what to do. i bought arp head studs, rod bolts and new piston rings and i am running out of money.

Bearings are so cheap, I would just replace them and have one less thing to worry about.
