Im currently running mine on the stock si Ecu. Runs great. But youll need to use your Si Distributor, and alter it to fit.

i'm not sure about the po8 but most obd1 conversions run the p28 ecu. i got a one wire ecu from zdyne allowing me to remain obd0 and only had to run one wire to the vtec solenoid. there is a thread with a pic of how the dist. needs to be mounted i'll see if i can find it.

it may not be the cheapest way, but me and my buddies arnt too familiar with swaps we are brand new to it, but we want to go with the most simple way, so i ordered the jdm d15b motor, and the p08 ecu that is used to run that motor in the civic vti, so now i am going to order the obd0 to obd1 conversion harness for that ecu, now does anyone think that i should order any other parts or accessories? and will that make the swap complete. (my car is 1990 civic si)

the things you have will make the swap complete, might want to look into some motor mount inserts, for the 14 year old car, but you have everything there that you need.

on the mount on the driver's side you need to use the bracket that goes from the mount to motor. should line up perfect.

let me restate. i swapped a z6 into my 91 and in researching found that i had to take that bracket off of my old b2 and put it on the z6 and i had no problems. the bracket that i took off the z6 was angled differently. so i used the bracket off of the 91 motor and it lined right up.

I had to do the same thing. Its the bracket that connects the Mount to the motor the one in between. Once you put your old one on there will be no problems with lining it up.
