can some ID this part that broke in my engine bay.
hey guys. theres what seems like a sensor or something that sits on the IM, w/ 2 vac lines going to it. the piece on the left of it snapped off, so the hose can no longer connect to it.. i started the car and let it idle, it seems ok, but i just want to check w/ u guys to see if it'd be ok to drive. Thanks. heres the pic, the red circle is where it broke.
no i dont know what that does, being as your car is obd1 and mine is obd2 so i dont have that plug thing thats sticking up, but im sure it doesnt have anthing to do with opening the runners, the only thing that controls that is the vacuum controlled arm on the other side of the IM
that sensor is the evap purge sensor for an obd1 car. obd2 car has a bigger sensor. dont know if its okay to leave the hose not plug to anything.

Well damn, Pohanka Acura up here wanted close to ~$350 for it a few months ago. I thought that little device was causing my CE Light so I was going to replace it till I saw the cost.
