for a week i have been fooling around trying to get my fuel filter off and i was able to loosen one banjo bolt but the other one wont budge. i want to cut the fuel line then get that bolt and the other part of the fuel line from the junkyard and connect the two with a schrader valve because i dont have the money to get a new fuel line i think its around 100 bucks. i was just wondering what you guys thought about this if it would work or not?

 

which line is it, the one from the tank or the one from the filter?

oh sorry about that its the one that deliveres the fuel to the filter its no more than 8 inches long

sorry about that i want to cut the line that delivers the fuel to the filter not the line that comes from the filter and delivers fuel to the fuel rail

 

Look at the end of the line you cut near the firewall, there is a bracket and a nut to remove the flexline. You can get a line from the junkyard, Crazy Rays Junkyard is near you in Jessup. You could pull one there for about $5.
