one of my friends put them on his ninja 250r cause he gets them really cheap. They are really bright.

hid kits comes with ballasts bulbs and ignitors .. the booster kit is only a harness adn relays that makes your headlights brighter... hope that explains that

i think he gets them for 50-100$. He works at like a junkyard type of place. So they get all kinds of stock hid kits from cars. I'm sure he got the one on his bike for 50bux or maybe even free since its only one bulb.

do you think he can look around for a set of oem hid for me. like e46, or audi a4 or a6...im tryng to retrofit those in my gsr (cuz damn gsr's stock projectors are hella crap)...thanks man

why the ? hid's provide a lot better lighting...which can be the difference between hitting that dead animal in the road you couldnt see until it was too late or riding harmlessly around it

that looks like retrofit with d2s d2r bulbs.. why not get balalsts and put actual bulbs that do fit... i can find kits like these for 280.

crap, nevermind. wouldn't this over heat the OEM bulb and blow easily?

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=934728 this might answer ur question. i don't suggest you use your stock bulbs because stock bulbs run about 50 wats or so, and thats not going to be brighter when u instlal the kit... the kit is a harness that will support80w bulbs and up. therefor allowing max flow of electricty to run the bulbs...
