axle problem please help

axle problem please help

the axle on the drivers side, will not go all the way back in after i replaced the clutch, it looks like it still needs to go in about 1/8 of an inch, also tranny fluid leaks from this axle too, any idas

when you push the axel all the way in do you hear a click see if you can easily get it back out? if not it's in there

doesn't sound like its in all the way. make sure the set ring is not bent and blocking any of the splines
