axle problem need help!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a transaxle leak on my driver side. i replaced the seal and put a new axle in, but the axle doesn't go in all the way. and it is still leaking

wiggle the axle until it wont go in anymore, might help if u have lift or access to one.
