Default Ok, I think this is going to cause some damge

Just bought this hood, cost me 329 + ship, I know not everyone likes this stuff on here but I do. I never really thoguht about it but look at the holes in the hood

The one on the far left is right above the battery and the one in the middle Im assuming will be right above the valve cover and distributor

Now my question is, can this do any damage?

Heres a pic of the hood but on a diff car

Just make sure your distributor cap gasket is in good shape(new).I've got a Cervinni snipper hood on my Rex,daily driver-even with the two open scoupes, the rain/water has never been a problem. It tends too keep the motor cooler, just got to do a little more cleaning under the hood when I show it.

i would be concerned about rain hitting a hot turbo or exhaust manifold and cracking it....

That actually looks very clean. I like it very much. How hard was it to do that conversion? I know those are 96 and up civic head lights, how hard were those to install? What kind of front bumper is that and for what year? I'm diggin those rims too what brand are they? Just getting ideas is all....

i would suggest not getting that hood if you live in a place that rains a lot. such as washington. just for the simple fact that you WILL get rain in the engine bay, not to mention other road grime.
