Default this happened to anyone?

so...i just put my old header on my car....and that day it started "spurting"/"bogging" now its gotten so bad, that it stalls while im driving....i dont know what it is, its kinda like im running on 3 cyl. but i checked my compression, and its 175, 175, 180, 175...which is like perfect for single cam....i was just wondering if this ever happened to anyone?

more info needed. you should do a leak down that will give you more information on how the piston rings are doing. post those results.

Fix your TPS and the sputtering will probablly go away. It's probably just out of calibration. Get a multimeter and a repair manual and figure it out.

The speedo thing is most likely your cable drive that goes from the transmission to the back of the gauge cluster. Take a look at it - they sometimes pop out of the tranmission or break internally. You will get a VSS code if you are having problems with the cable - speedo won't work if the cable is messed up.

you need a new dist. also check the ground wires all over the engine and cabin (under the dash)

chk the ground wires first as they may fix the code 9.

Check the search for "bogging" and there is a **** load of posts this should narrow your question a bit. My bud used it for a vtec bog problem and it helped him out. sorry couldn't help more. goood luck
