Default Wheels and slicks (smallest wheel size?)

I have a 92' Prelude which originally had the H23A, so I have the smaller brakes compared to the VTEC model Preluds. Anyways, I was wondering what was the lowest size wheels I could run. Would a 13" wheel clear the brakes, or would a 14" wheel be smallest I could go? Currently I'm running 15" wheels with MT slicks but I want to go lower to get better gearing, With these slicks the highest I've trapped is 96mph. C'mon guys, I need some peoples advise who use slicks.

i'm not positive, but i think you would need to get a smaller brake caliper up front to accomodate 13" wheels.

howbout a 14" wheel? would i be able to clear the brakes? Is there anyway to fit a 13" wheel without having to downgrade my brakes? Would using spacers help or no?

im pretty sure correct me if im wrong all preludes have the same brake system...and stock S models come with 14'' steelies so im sure you would be fine clearing the calipers with a 14

or you could use 14" accord rims 90-93
same lug size. How big are those slicks you have,
because if they're too big, i dont think smaller wheels will help you.

i was thinking about running a 40-45 series tire on some
14's to help the gearing as well

It sounds like you are in danger or lowering your gears too much, depending on the tranny you are using, even with a lower gear ratios, being able to stay in 4th gear till the end of the track would benefit you more than having even higher gear ratios and then having to shift into 5th, to be able to accelerate as fast as you could in 4th gear you would need a final drive of 5.61 compared to a stock 4.27, so before you spend all your money buying new rims and tires you might want to mod your engine till you are happy with it and adjust for FD and keep it in 4th during your 1/4

currently i have 22x8x15" slicks, and I have the M2B4 tranny so my gearing is fairly decent. So would you guys say get some 14" accord steel wheels or just stick with the 15" wheels and call it a day?

I dont think you will see any advantage by going to a 14" slick of the 22x8x15 you're using now. or enough to justify it atleast

A 22" slick doesn't exist for 14" wheels, anymore. There is only a 20".
