Default lug conversion?

hi there, i have a 2002 accord 4 cylinder. since i have the 4 lug wheels, i was wondering if there is any kind of adapter to convert to a 5 lug?

the reason for me wanting to do this is because I want to put some 17 inch acura cl wheels on.

and if that is not possible, does anyone know if i can still have the honda center cap on aftermarket wheels?

thanks!

Yes it can be done. There was a guy selling a conversion kit on ebay for a while. Basically you want an accord EX V6. Another alternative is perhaps a Honda Prelude has the necessary parts. But look for parts from a 6th gen AV6 EX for the easiest work...

I say EX because along with your 5 lug conversion, youd get rear disc brakes instead of drum brakes

For the price of converting it to 5-lug and buying the wheels, you could get a nice set of wheels (Volks?). I'd just find a set of aftermarket rims you like and go with that. Conversions are a waste of time and money IMO.

all the 98-02 v6 cars have front and rear discs. Not just the EX model.

Yeah you could do a V6 or TL conversion, but it really is'nt worth it for just some wheels.
But I did the TL conversion because of the huge brackes.

thanks for all the responses. jucord, do you have any pics?

well if it's so expensive, then maybe i'll just find some look alike wheels, does anyone know if i can still use the Honda center cap on aftermarket wheels. i hate it to not have the "H", just a quirk of mine.
