Default easiest b18c swap into crx questions

ok i have a 67000 mile b18c1 in my garage... all gaskets and seals have been replaced... i am currently purchasing hasport mounts.
i don't have a tranny as of yet, because i have a few questions about it. i know with some tranny's you have to buy a hasport hydro to cable tranny conversion. wouldn't it just be easier for me to buy a cable tranny? what's the easiest to do?
also, a question about the ecu. I have a stock obd1 p28 ecu, would it be easier to use that or to keep my si ecu and chip it and add vtec and oil pressure etc...

thanks a bunches fellerrrrrrrrrrrrrrs

as for the tranny it depends on if you can even find a decent cable tranny, i would go for a hydro tranny.

and for the ecu just switch over to the obd1 stuff and use that p28 of yours.
