Default Spedometer is going crazy!

For some unknown reason since I reset my ECU yesterday between 0 and 75KMPH the speedo bounced around like crazy. It jumps like a 15KMPH gap sometimes. It happens worse when I slow down fast or speed up fast like to pass someone. In parking lots when I am going like 10 it says I am going like 20 but then when I hit the brakes to stop it does.

The KMPH unless when I am going really slowly seems acurate. So that is not too bad but the jumping around is annoying and distracting. Anyone know what is going on or how I can rectify this problem?

Assuming you have a cable driven speedo,
What the problem could be is that the cable has no lubrication
causing the cable to bind and catch which will cause a fluctuating
speedometer needle.

On mine,I pulled the inside cable out of the cable housing at the transmisson and
greased it with wheel bearing grease..

^yea it prolly has nothing to do with the ecu mine never worked cause the metal fitting on the end was broke so i pulled it off and re-clamped it on then it started jumping cause i clamped it too tight (keeping the cable from turning freely) then I loosened it and it works fine. So make sure the cable isnt binding on anything
