fiberglass kits
I am going to get a kit for my car soon and I have heard that most fiberglass kits dont fit well. Is this true? I know that they crack easily but I dont think i can afford a urethane kit. Also, has anyone bought a kit from RAZO in milpitas before. someone told me they make their own kits. hows the quality? And finally, how much is it usually to get a front bumper rear bumper and sideskirts painted all together? thanks
Fiberglass doesn't hold up anywhere near as well as urethane. It doesn't hold paint as well as urethane, and is way more difficult to fit to the car properly. Not to mention, urethane doesn't shatter when curbed or bumped.

stay away from Razo man... overpriced and they don't know what they're doing... Razo for air freshners, pedals, and shifters yes... Razo for anything else no...
what other shops are you considering? there's a guy who did the paint work on half the imports at MSJ two years ago... i don't know if he is still around but i'll try to find the number for you... you may just want to do some online shopping for kits though... are you lowered? cause those speed bumps at school bite hard... and the kit may look whack without rims and lowering... just some thoughts...
see if Bozz Performance or Diablo Autosports can get you anything...

You're better off with the urethane. If you can't afford it, then just save up, because in the long run, you'll be spending more money on your fiber glass kit, because it'll crack, and you'll have to either replace it, or get it bondo up.

the wings west kit for the accord came yesterday. Its a urethane kit, and its pretty durable. I dealt with fiberglass on my truck (roll pan, bed cover, etc.) and 'glass is nowhere as durable or strong. I say go with the urethane
yeah razo told me... $200 for instalation for a full kit
. and they dont come with marks telling you where to drill. but they ARE pretty cheap... $179 for a pair of sideskirts. how much are urethane kits usually? expensive? who was the guy at msj who painted kits? was it professional quality? oh yeah, and my car is lowred... 1.5" and with 17" tantrums. the speedbumps arnt that bad.. i can go over em prett fast without having to go sideways haha. can you recommend some online shops for kits besides bozz and diablo. thanks

1.5" you'll be fine
i managed with 3.5" and my front lip going straight but a kit may end up hanging lower so i thought that may be a concern... it wasn't actually a guy at msj... was a guy in fremont that did most of our cars... did my lip... did a great job... i need to get a hold of him too cause i need some more things painted but i need to track down a friend who has his number...

I bought my back and sides from Aerogear, and the kit has been pretty good... I fit it myself, and it was almost completely true to my car... I had to shave it down a very tiny bit on one side... My front kit is urethane, and that went right on...
