for intake, stock intake or perhaps CAI from AEM or injen

headers would be JDM 4-1 headers

carsound cat or test pipe

and exhaust would be ITR catback.

i have stock intake, ITR JDM 4-1 headers, and ITRcatback.

a SMSP catback would prolly net better gains since the ITR catback does have some bottlenecks in it.

I'm currently running a J's Racing Intake/JDM ITR 4-1 header/Fujitsubo RM-01a combo, no complaints.

"Best" and "on a budget" are two separate things in this case, and you'll definitely want to eliminate the JDM-only mindset. However, if you want best "bang for the buck", then opinions vary on intakes (AEM, Comptech, J's, generic, etc.), but the DC Sports JDM 4-1, a 2.5" Car Sound, and a custom 2.5" cat-back are widely regarded as offering the best performance for the money. You'll also find a tremendous amount of information pertaining to all of your options by using the search feature.
