hey yall, I just got a CRX got a Vtec question
hey yall, I know my name has TSI in it, but hell I like hondas too. there are no cars out there as Reliable as these cars are, and What other car can you swap motors in and out every weekend? right, there are none! ANYWAY!!!
I got a 1989 Crx DX ( I know I know) but after reading some stuff I found that a d16z6 head will fit on my D block, right? now Since my CRX is a DX will my intake mani work, Its Dual Point injection. not Multipoint??? I found a head kinda local, but I dont wana pick it up if I have to Switch to multipoint. Im guessing to much work, and if I want to do that much work, Ide Rather just swap a b-serries, and call it a day.

I'm not gonna say yes sure. But i believe it will.It just wont be the same with out Mpfi swap.Besides if your gonna put a vtec head on then you will have to do some wiring anyways,so why not spend a little extra cash and time to do Mpfi swap also?
kool thanks guys, I read alot of stuff, even the how-to! heh. Seems very easy. but The gain to price, isnt really intresting me. I think after swaping to MPI then Sohc Vtec, It would have been a better idea to swap to a B-serries.
