Default d series motor into a 89 crx but new motor had a hydrolic tranny will that be a problem?

I bought a d series motor out of my friend's 94 hatchback dx, which had a hydrolic tranny, but i didn't get the tranny with the motor. I was putting the motor into my 89 CRX Si and I have a cable tranny. I was wondering if it would just bolt right up. If anyone knows anything about this and would care to comment it would help me alot thanks.

Yes, it should just bolt right up. Use the distribotor and ECU from the old engine if you don't want to switch to OBD1.

it basically the same setup..but you might want to check up on that intake manifold, casue the 92-up have the MAP sensor on the TB..while the 89 crx has it mounted on the firewall....so you would have to do some minor switching and wiring.
