Default code 9 obd0 MPFI swap on dx

i did mpfi swap on a d15 with a milled A6 head, using a chipped pr4 ecu with pm6 maps and timing curve.

runs great but has code 9 when i hit higher RPM. if i turn the car off and start it right back up after hitting high rpm, the code will be gone.

any help is appreciated.

Yes. Or check the wiring.

CPS is code 9. i read the manual and it said to check b10/b12 resistance, should have 350 to 550 ohms. check there and on dizzy, if they are both low it means bad dizzy. if its on the dizzy but not on ecu, its wiring.

code 9 is #1 cylinder position. possible bad crank angle sensor.

crank angle sensor is in the dizzy on a d16a6, correct? also, could this code be given if the timing belt jumps a tooth?

i had originally a code 9 w/obd0, i reset the ecu and it disappeared after that. i took it to the mechanic later on who said my timing was a little advanced.

i don't know what that proves, but it may help to check your timing.

on a brand new one or remanned? i know the autozone here only sells remanned. that's not to say the remans don't work, i'm using one now. i just wish i had known about dist. king prior and i would've got a brand new one.

how??
code 9 is the cylinder sensor (CYL)

and that sensor is on the exhaust cam of the DOHC ZC , not in the dizzy...
u have a code 4 (crank) u had that problem

please refrain of posting stuff that confuses other people that are reading this threads for knowledge
