OMNIPOWER coilovers.. STREET vs SPORT
i have searched for all the info i could find on Omnipower coils and i found out some good info, BUT i need a more specific question answered as best as possible from users experience.
but first...let me tell you what i do with my car...
it's my daily driver in new hampshire (some good roads, some bumpy roads, along with winter driving, highways are good at best, maybe more on the fair side) overall not too bad though
i drag race on a rare occasion, and i will be autocrossing often
anyway...my question is this
im debating between the street 10F-6B setup or the sport 12F-8B setup and my only real question is how the ride is on the sport setup for daily use
i remember seeing that someone said it was very hard, but "he" didnt mind it so much...but he didnt get into detail
i want the best handling i can acheive without feeling like im running over speed bumps all the time...moderate bumpiness is ok with me, im pretty tolerant
someone said the 10-6 setup was underdampered...and someone said it wasnt...so there isnt too much clear info
can i use the 12f-8b for daily driving in NH? or is the 10f-6b a better choice?
will the 10f-6b be ok in autocross? compared to the 12f-8b?
thanks for your time! sorry if this was kinda long and drawn out

I have the 12/10 setup and I love it. It's stiff as hell but I like it. I could daily drive this setup no prob. Just don't hit any bumps or potholes doing over 70 mph because it will sling you out of the seat. If this is going to be a double duty suspension then I think you are best to go with the street setup.
It all goes back to personal preference.
I know people who run a 14k front/18k rear, 20k front/16k rear etc etc.up and still drive their cars on the street. Its all a matter on how much you can tolerate.
I personally think that the 10f/8r setup is a bit to soft, but im not sure on the damping specs on the OmniPower coilovers. I rode in a car a few weeks back at a track event running the sport set up and it was amazing.
I'll be getting a set of OmniPower coilovers when he comes out with a race spec set up which should be in a few months.
