Hey guys. I've got an 88 CRX Si that failed smog today. They guy told me that replacing my Cat & O2 sensor will probably fix it. Any recomendations on where I should get these two items? I've got a Stock Si Motor and no bolt ons and I'm located in So Cal. (Irvine).

Please help, looking on at least ordering these two items today!

You can get a cat from any muffler shop. As for the o2 sensor, http://www.oxygensensors.com , your local dealer, or a Bosch sensor from your local auto parts.

 

Thanks El Vap- I want to get a cat that's as close to stock as possible, without the price of a stock cat. Do you think that any cat will allow me to pass smog? Which cat would you recommend?

Go 2 autozone, and get the parts

 

When you go to the muffler shop, just tell them you want a stock cat, not a free flow one.

 

Where in Irvine did you smog it? I work out in Newport Beach at a Test Only.

 

I went to Smog Time (test only) in Irvine.
