worst shop in the world
i don't know who all up in here actually like Hookups Importtek in Upland, CA, but i just wanted to say i paid them 700 dollars to drop in my euro-r h22a into my prelude 95, and now 5 weeks later, the car is still not driveable. They forgot to put on the front engine mount, did not wire on the IAC valve for me (so i have no idle), the car does not even idle ghetto style (by setting the throttle plate to stay open) until it warms up, so ihave to rev it for the first 10 minutes of driving, what else, they took some euro-r parts... never gave them back to me, and whenever i try to get help, they say talk to jake, he's the one who did your engine, and "he's not here at the moment" EVERYTIME I CALL. I just wanted everyone to know that hookups importtek DOES NOT value the customers at all... and right now i'm having ANOTHER shop finish up the swap. which means i have to pay more. i hope no one makes the mistake of going to them like i did. If only i had done more research on shops...
sorry boutcha man... i've never had any problems with shops.. i do all my own work. except for tinting my windows... for some reason i just dont wanna mess with the dam windows.... hahaha
but yeah.. sux for u man.. i dunno if u can complain to someone like the BBB or anything... u should get something back anyway...

the thing is, some people in honda-tech (yes here) said they were great... so thats what i relied on, and that is how i heard of hookups, and thats why i went there... but yes i still should have spend more research on it... i don't knwo what i was thinking when i did not research it more...
