Default d16a6 crank seal trouble

I have a d16a6 in my civic cx(swapped of course) and im having trouble with the crank seal. i have went through five in the last month and two in the last week. the washer behind the gear is rubbing the face of the seal until it leaks. have noticed that the seal is pushed out past the outer edge when i remove it and that im sure is why the washer is rubbing it. But what would cause the seal to get pushed out. Is there some kind of retainer that may be missing. plus the seal goes in way to easy. could i possibly have the wrong seal...i have been getting a the seals for a 91 crx si...this should be the seal right??? thanks for any help

Have someone push in the clutch with engine running while you are looking at the crank pully. Make sure its not moving in and out when you are doing it. If it is you have bigger problems.
