I would appreciate any info anyone can give me...my 1995 cx has a d16a6 and i have replaced the cnak seal 5 times so far in the last month...two in the last week. What is happening is the seal s getting pused out and the washer behind the gear is rubbing the face of the seal until it leaks. But my question is why/what keeps pushing the seal out. It seems to go in to easy, so are there any other seals that may work...maybe the honda dealer is giving me the wrong seal b/c it seem to slide in way to easy...thanks

 

try posting in the crx forum. they may be a little more savvy w/ the d16a6. sorry i can't help more

 

A clog pcv valve would cause the seal to be push out...I would check the pcv and replace it first...
