Default GAS PUMP ON A 91 ACCORD

i just paid my mechanic $400 for something, and now 3 days later my car wont start. so i pay $50 to get it towed in there, this dude tells me its the gas pump now.

i think these dudes are sabotaging my car or someting, to keep me coming in. anyway, i ask them what it would be and he says he dont know yet until the parts store opens back up on monday

anyone know where i can find and how much a gas pump is for a 91 accord
and what is the difficulty of the job?
whats a good est. for a mechanic to charge for this, if its over $150 i aint getting it done, **** my car

i would say its going to be at least 2 hours shop labor time plus the parts cost.

you have to remove the gas tank to get to the fuel pump on 90-93 accords.

depending on what the mechanic did to the car you could just take it back. it sounds like maybe it was his fault due to the timing but i cant imagine why he would mess with teh fuel pump unless hes trying to hustle you

the assembly is where the fuel pump is mounted.

the inline fuel pump should be over 100-150 for stocker.

the assembly is another story, it's the plastic casing of the float(to get signal for your fuel guage, etc

Dude, should have done it yourself. the hardest part is the drop the tank, which isnt that hard after all. all the installation is straight removal and bolt up. Sounds like he charged your *** off with the labor
