Default radiator boils over

hello everyone!! just joined today. i have a 94 accord lx that has started to lose some coolant by boiling over out of the radiator cap. my temp gauge is not reading hot and my fan seems to be working. the coolant level is good thanks to reserve tank that i have to add some coolant to like every 2 days now. any ideas?

is the cap still holding 1.1 bar of boost?

had to google what 1.1 bar boost was....i don't know if it is holding that much or not...should i buy a new cap or is there an easy way to test boost?

change your coolant if it is too old. Old coolant boils.

change your radiator cap

if that still doesn't fix the problem, pressure test your radiator. Boiling = system is not air tight.

Change coolant and flush and check for leaks also might think about replacing cap, same thing david 90 said

As the engine warms up from a dead cold condition you should feel a temp difference between the top & bottom radiator hoses. Then after 10 mins or so the T-stat will open up and the hoses will have almost equal temp.
If this does not happen the T-stat needs to be replaced.
You should also be sure the block is burped via the 12mm bleeder at the T-stat housing.
