Default PROBLEM WITH b16

my B16 in my hatch is running like ****, only revs out to like 7500, and doesnt feel like its hitting vtec . PR3 ECU...
i'm all white plug, but want to convert to GREY plug,
but meanwhile, what do you think is wrong?
could VTEC have something to do with my revlimiter?

PLEASE HELP.

hey man are you on civic4g.com? buuut anyways,i just got done with rewiring a H22 EG that was doing the same thing, you should heard it, it was fallingon its *** backfiring, and rev limiting at 5500, put in a new harness, a JDM P13, and a walbro 155 liter per hour/AND A CORRECT GROUND POINT(hint hint)
do you have an STD hatch that is gutted?
you say it is cutting out at 7500, well that is 700 short of revlimit, what tach are you using and how accurate is it? who did your wiring, and what kinda wire did you use? has your ECU been chipped, do you have a cat? is it plugged?get a voltmeter, check the voltage to the plugs on your harness, they should read 12v with the ignition on. if your ECU is in limp mode it would limit at 3500, so at 4800-5200 it suddenly does not get louder? what exhaust do you have? i need more information about your setup and some pix, it could be something simple like PCV valve or a vacuum leak, you FPR and fuel filter could be suspect. if you have an STD your fuel pump was made for a 60HP engine, you may be starving for fuel...have you checked your oil lately? compression tests, and it is soo hard to do over the net diagnosis, heck your map sensor could be goind out, or your TPS voltage reading incorrectly

the H22 i can't really help ya, but the B16 sounds like the oil level is not sufficient. Try adding some.

i did add oil... didnt work

but i DO have vtec after REwiring the solenoid and pressure switch,
adding a 2002 RSX type S oil filter, new oil, and (not vtec related) new fuel filter...
reseting the ECU, i'm back inot VTEC.

so thanks to all that tried to help.
