VAFC problem!
I've just initialised my VAFC because it hasnt been dyno tuned. But now there is no VTEC. I noticed that the revs on the VAFC is reading lower than my tach. Im pretty sure initialising the VAFC erases all the settings, including, car type, sensor type, throttle position etc. Do you recommend I leave it plug in but unplug the power source to the VAFC for now until I get it dyno tuned? What wire is the power?
Cheers

You just said you just finished installing the VAFC but you don't know where the power wire is? Ok. I guess someone else installed it.
When you install a VAFC, you DEFINITELY need to get it dyno tuned. You need people, who know what they're doing, to fine tune the parameters for you. Don't mess around with it or you can do some great damage to your motor.
Get it tuned ASAP before we see carnage pics of your motor on here.

No. I INTIALISED the VAFC (reset it). The previous owner installed it and tuned it himself and wasnt dyno tuned. So now my car is running with the VAFC on but with all the settings initialised but there is no VTEC.
I was wondering if i should just take out the power to the VAFC for now until i get it dyno tuned because it's not engaging in VTEC and all the settings seem to be default. I want to know which wire to disconnect to cut the power to the VAFC.

when you initialize the settings you have to go back through and reset all the settings so that it works properly like with your motor. for example; when you initialize the settings it automatically puts it back to 6 cylinders and that will cause your car to run like ****. go back thru and check all the settings.
Yeah I realised the car type was set at 6 cylinder and now after I put it back to 4 cylinder the RPM's are consistant with my tach and VTEC kicks in.
What should the Sensor number be In and Out?
These are all the initial settings I need right?
I don't need to adjust anything in the [2. Setting] menu if i want to run it stock spec?
