Uneven wear on brake pads. Why?
I'm changing my pads and I notice they are much thinner at the top than at the bottom. I'm running a stock front brake setup on a 92 CX with a little more power. The pads were EBC Greenstuff and the rotors are OEM. What would cause the pads to wear like this and what can I do to get more even wear from my next set of pads? Thanks.
you will get more heat on top of the rotor since there is more movement then on the bottom, so I would say that's normal. I seen my brake pads like that too, as long as it's not like crazy uneven.

Really? All pads I've changed have been evenly worn with OEM rotors. Never seen this before.

it happened couple times to me. But the car didn't have shim kit so it could of bee part of the problem, I guess it was just a hypothesis which kind of makes sence.
